  • Conclusions and final thoughts;

Once again, despite the ‘peculiar’ circumstances due to Covid, I am confident in saying that this experience has given me unique and authentic emotions.

Fifteen young talents under 30 experienced a range of emotions, including joy, amazement, anger, perplexity, confusion, disorientation, teamwork, laughter, and contagious cheerfulness during their 10-day journey in the Multimedia Valley of Giffoni Valle Piana for the 50th anniversary of the Giffoni Film Festival.

Please take a look at the most significant moments in the carousel of pictures I have collected.

In this edition, compared to a year ago where I focused exclusively on the international working table of 11 boys and girls from Italy, India, Colombia and Venezuela for the brand TOYOTA, I co-ordinated the work of the 5 groups of 3 people who measured themselves against the challenges set by BAYER Italy and BPER Bank.

All participants in this year’s event are residents of Campania, which created a positive and welcoming atmosphere. However, conflicts and unexpected reactions were expertly managed.

The task of following them began with the preliminary CV selection, which allowed us to integrate a diverse and highly skilled team. This was a crucial factor in the resounding success of the event.

Our program attracts a diverse group of students from various fields, including Physics, Environmental Engineering, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Design, Audiovisual Content Editing, Architecture, Game Design, and Sociology.

This year, our collaboration with the Apple Developer Academy has equipped our teams with valuable students with coding skills too.

Understanding the stories of each individual talent was the challenge from day one. These individuals chose to get involved in a small town in the province of Salerno during the last two weeks of August.

The Giffoni Film Festival has achieved an enchanting result for 50 years. Recently, innovation and start-ups have played an increasingly central role. This year, the co-working space where the dreamers spent the 10-day event was truly fantastic.

If someone were to ask me at this point what was the most exciting moment of the whole event, I would mention the post published on Facebook by Paola Pisano, at that time Minister of Innovation and Digitalisation of our country, which best expresses what it means to invest in young people and their skills.

The event programme: from day 1 to day 10.

So, it seems only right to collect here the video summaries of the 10 days full of work and experiences that the Dreamers have been involved in.

Final thoughts

Participating in events of this level for the third consecutive year has reinforced my awareness of the immense value that my land offers in terms of Human Capital.

The roots of our ties are strengthened with time and experience, making us more aware of our real priorities in life.

Giving and thankfulness form the foundation of our pyramid of values.

Greetings to all those who will find this summary useful. I would like to extend a special thank you to the person on my right for their trust and availability.
